Summer Training Programme in Mathematics 2019

* The Programme will be conducted only if the funds are approved.

The Ramanujan Institute for Advanced Study in Mathematics, University of Madras, Chennai, is planning to organize Eleventh Summer Training Programme in Mathematics (STP 2019) during May 08-28, 2019 *.

The Primary objective of the programme is to attract talented Post Graduate students in Mathematics by exposing them the power and beauty of Mathematics. This programme will give hands-on experience in doing mathematics and enhance mathematical thinking. The programme would consist of lectures in some basic topics by experts from leading Institutions and may provide some glimpses on selected topics of current research interests. The programme will also focus on problem solving and will be highly interactive.

All selected candidates will be provided with working lunch. Accommodation will be arranged for outstation candidates and they will be paid Second Class Sleeper fare as per rules.

Pre-requisites: Good Background in Core Mathematics.

Eligibility: Students who have completed I year M.Sc. / IV year Integrated M.Sc. Mathematics.

3) Attested Photo Copy of M.Sc First Semester Marksheet (If not, Online result statement of marks with HOD's Signature.)
4) Bonafide Certificate from the Head of the Institution in the prescribed format (click here for the format).
5) Recommendation letter generated while applying online.
